Pada ulang tahun Provinsi Ke-54, diperkenalkan sebuah lagu berjudul "Heart of Borneo" sebagai pendukung Program Kaltim Hijau (Green Province). Lagu ini diciptakan oleh Edwin Halu Oleo Mokodompit yang merupakan jebolan Akademi Fantasi Indosiar (AFI). Lagu Heart of Borneo berisi tentang pesan-pesan moral pelestarian lingkungan dan sumber daya alam Kaltim yang berlimpah dan kehidupan masyarakatnya yang rukun dan damai.
